Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Effectual Thinking, a partnership registered in British Columbia and operating the RVEAL Coaching brand ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our website located at www.rveal.coach or our application at my.rveal.coach (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

2. Nature of Coaching Services

No guarantee of employment or other results: RVEAL provides career assessments, reports, coaching tools, AI-assisted coaching, and access to independent coaches. These services support decision-making but do not guarantee employment, an offer, compensation, promotion, retention, or any other outcome.

Not medical advice: RVEAL services are not psychological counselling, clinical therapy, medical care, or a substitute for advice from a qualified health professional.

3. Your Coach and Your Data

If your purchase includes a one-on-one coaching session, your assigned coach may access your RVEAL report and assessment results from booking confirmation until seven days after the session. Access is limited to preparing for the session and completing follow-up notes, and each report access is logged.

• RVEAL does not record the coaching session.
• Coaches are independent certified professionals and are not employees of Effectual Thinking.
• Coaches cannot access your conversations with Leo unless you share them yourself.

Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected, used, retained, and deleted.

4. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must register for an account via Google, LinkedIn, or Email. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
• Maintain the security of your password (or authentication method).
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

5. Payments

Prices, currency, applicable taxes, and the items included in a purchase are shown before you confirm payment. Stripe processes payments on our behalf. Subscriptions renew at the stated billing interval until cancelled. You may cancel a subscription through the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

6. Cancellations, Transfers, and Refunds

• RVEAL Profile: the Profile includes digital services made available immediately after purchase. Except where required by law, the purchase is final once the full report is available, Leo has been used, or the included coaching session has taken place. If none of those events has occurred, contact us to request cancellation.
• Leo subscriptions: you may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, fees already paid for that period are not refunded or prorated.
• RVEAL Practice transfer: you may transfer your practitioner place once, without a fee, to a later open cohort. We must receive the request at least seven calendar days before your first scheduled session, and the new cohort must have capacity.
• RVEAL Practice cancellation by you: if we receive your cancellation request before the transfer cutoff, we will refund $490 USD, representing the practitioner training and included client Leo access. At or after the cutoff, that portion is non-refundable. In either case, the workspace remains active and unused report credits do not expire.
• RVEAL Practice cancellation or postponement by us: you may transfer to a later open cohort or receive a $490 USD refund. The workspace remains active and unused report credits do not expire.

To request a cancellation, transfer, or refund, email support@rveal.coach. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Nothing in these Terms limits a cancellation, refund, or other consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its content, including the RVEAL framework, training curriculum, assessment, scoring methods, report structure, software, and branding, are owned by Effectual Thinking or its licensors. Individual users receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for their own use. An authorized RVEAL Practice user may use the tools and materials supplied for client or candidate work within their authorized workspace. No purchase transfers ownership of RVEAL intellectual property.

8. The RVEAL Assessment and Reports

You may use a report for the purpose for which it was supplied. Unless your Practice authorization expressly permits it, you may not:

• Copying, distributing, or reproducing the assessment questions or report logic for commercial purposes.
• Reverse-engineering the scoring methodology or report generation process.
• Using the Assessment to create a competing career coaching tool or service.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Effectual Thinking and RVEAL Coaching shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the Service.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for a material breach of these Terms, non-payment, fraud, unlawful use, abuse of the Service, or a security risk. We will give reasonable notice when practicable. Termination does not remove payment obligations or consumer rights that arose before termination.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. This choice of law does not remove any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms prospectively. Changes do not alter the price, included services, refund terms, or cohort terms of a completed one-time purchase. For an ongoing subscription, we will provide notice of a material change as required by law and state when it takes effect.
