Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Effectual Thinking (doing business as "RVEAL Coaching," "we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our website located at www.rveal.coach or our application at my.rveal.coach (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

2. Nature of Coaching Services

No Guarantee of Employment: RVEAL Coaching provides career guidance, strategy, and coaching tools to assist you in your professional development. You explicitly acknowledge that we do not guarantee job placement, employment offers, specific salary increases, or career advancement. Your career success depends on your own efforts, the job market, and other factors beyond our control.

Not Medical Advice: Our coaching and the RVEAL Assessment are focused on professional development and are not substitutes for psychological counseling, clinical therapy, or medical advice.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must register for an account via Google, LinkedIn, or Email. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
• Maintain the security of your password (or authentication method).
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Payments and Refunds

Billing: Payments for subscriptions or one-time coaching sessions are processed securely via Stripe. You agree to provide current and valid payment information.

Refunds: Unless otherwise required by law, payments are non-refundable once a coaching session has been completed. If you wish to cancel a subscription, you must do so before the renewal date to avoid being charged for the next cycle.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (including coaching frameworks, curriculum, logos, and software) are the exclusive property of RVEAL Coaching and Effectual Thinking. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your personal professional development.

6. The RVEAL Assessment & Reports

The RVEAL Assessment (including the 25-question questionnaire format, proprietary scoring logic, and report structure) is the foundational intellectual property of Effectual Thinking.

By taking the assessment, you receive a personal license to use the generated Report for your individual career growth. However, you are strictly prohibited from:

• Copying, distributing, or reproducing the assessment questions or report logic for commercial purposes.
• Reverse-engineering the scoring methodology or report generation process.
• Using the Assessment to create a competing career coaching tool or service.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Effectual Thinking and RVEAL Coaching shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the Service.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
